Who we are

A life giving church for Randfontein

We believe every community deserves a life giving church. We seek to be that church — and your journey towards Jesus starts here.

Every person meeting Jesus

Connexions Randfontein is a dynamic, growing, Christ-centred church. We desire to see every person meet Jesus, and we preach Him through inspirational and practical teaching that offers a message of hope, belonging and life.

We are affiliated with the Assemblies of God Group, submitted to an apostolic team because we believe in a Biblical leadership structure.

What we believe

Our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and shared with the Assemblies of God Group.

01 The Holy Bible
Scripture is God’s inspired, authoritative and trustworthy Word.
02 The Trinity
One God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
03 Jesus Christ
Fully God and fully man; He lived without sin, died for our sins, rose again and will return.
04 The Virgin Birth
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of Mary.
05 Redemption
Humanity fell from its original goodness, and only Jesus can rescue us.
06 Formation
The Holy Spirit renews a person so they can truly know God and be formed back into His image.
07 Salvation
We are saved by grace through faith in Christ, not by our own works.
08 Repentance
Turning from sin to follow Christ brings forgiveness and new life.
09 Sanctification
We are made holy as we live the way God designed.
10 The Blood of Jesus
Christ’s sacrifice fully cleanses us from sin and its penalty.
11 Christ in Believers
Through the Spirit, Jesus lives in all who follow Him as Lord.
12 Baptism in the Holy Spirit
Given at Pentecost to empower the Church to spread the Gospel.
13 Gifts of the Spirit
Spiritual gifts build up the Church and always align with Scripture.
14 The Church
The body of Christ, with all believers united as members.
15 Water Baptism
New believers are baptised in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
16 The Lord’s Supper
Communion remembers Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
17 Marriage
A sacred, lifelong union between one man and one woman before God.
18 Healing
Healing is part of Jesus’ ministry and a gift to the Church today.
19 God’s Provision
God desires His people to flourish in every area of life.
20 Resurrection
Jesus rose bodily, and all people will one day be raised.
21 Heaven
The eternal home of all who believe the Gospel.
22 Judgement
Those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from God.
23 The Second Coming
Jesus will visibly return to establish His Kingdom.
